Are certain foods one of the reasons for acne and blemished skin?? Should be avoided chocolate and milk in case of pimples and skin blemishes? We get to the bottom of these questions. Reveal the causes of acne through food.
1. CHOCOLATE CAUSES PIMPLES. WRONG!
Recent studies show that there is little correlation between eating chocolate and the appearance of acne. However, every skin reacts differently to certain foods like chocolate. If you find that sweets like these make your acne worse, try cutting back on chocolate and co. Reduce in the long term.
2. DAIRY PRODUCTS CAN TRIGGER ACNE. TRUE!
Even though the results of many studies are often unclear, the connection is scientifically proven: Dairy products can affect the appearance of the skin. But what are the reasons for acne caused by milk?? All the evidence suggests that the hormones found in cow's milk may be responsible. If your skin is sensitive to dairy products, try alternatives. Soy, oat or almond drinks, for example, can be a good substitute. Watch how your skin reacts. Try to adjust your diet step by step.
3. SWEETS AND CAKES CAN TRIGGER ACNE. TRUE!
Foods high in sugar or refined carbohydrates have been shown to make acne worse. Our recommendation: the diet for acne should contain mainly foods with a high proportion of whole grains and many legumes. You should avoid products with refined sugar and white flour in large quantities or greatly reduce consumption.
4. OMEGA-3 IS GOOD FOR SKIN BLEMISHES. TRUE!
The healthy omega-3 fatty acids have an anti-inflammatory effect throughout the body, including in the skin. Optimize your diet plan and supplement it with "good" fats like salmon, tuna or a handful of nuts.
5. HIGH-FAT FOODS LIKE PIZZA WORSEN ACNE. WRONG!
There is no direct link between dietary fats and the fat in our pores. However, a diet rich in saturated fatty acids can promote inflammation in all organs of the body. This means that even if high-fat foods are not responsible for acne, you should eat as little of them as possible for the sake of your health.
