Everywhere advertising and so-called Experts all tell a different story.
However, a healthy diet must Not complicated and is also not difficult.
People used to be much healthier before all these diet and health products flooded our society.
However, the rules for a healthy life have not changed since then… our Genes are still the same and what worked well for us then is still used today.
Here is a brief Overview What to expect in this blogpost:
To live healthy, lose weight or feel better every day you don't have to do anything but follow these five rules.
1. Do not ingest toxic substances
Don't eat junk food
There are a lot of things today that are downright toxic to our bodies.
Given the addictive nature of some of these products, it is not surprising that many people have trouble resisting them.
I'm talking about the usual suspects like cigarettes, alcohol and other drugs. If you consume one or more of these… then the ie of diet and exercise is probably one of your lesser concerns.
Alcohol is ok as long as it is drunk in moderation. Tobacco and other drugs, however, you should give a wide berth to if you really care about your health.
But an unhealthy diet and disease-promoting foods are even MUCH more common today. If you want to improve your health, then you should definitely avoid these foods.
Probably the biggest and most important change in terms of a healthy diet is when you cut down on Avoid processed and packaged foods, because these are suspected to be cancer-causing.(1)
This can be difficult because many of these foods have been altered by so-called nutritionists to make them addictive.(2)
In terms of specific ingredients, sugar substitutes are by far the most common thing added to foods. We are talking here about sucrose and artificially produced sugars.(3) Both can have a devastating effect on your metabolism if consumed in excess.
Also, it's a good idea to avoid eating any fats that require chemicals or factories to produce. These include all trans fats, refined seed and vegetable oils such as soy and sunflower oil.
You can't stay or get healthy if you're putting your body through disease-inducing things. Avoid as much as possible the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and industrial foods with artificial ingredients.
2. Do sports and strength training regularly
Do strength training regularly
It is extremely important for your health that you train your muscles.
No… I do NOT mean that you absolutely need a six pack and bulging veins on your thick biceps.
Lifting weights and doing regular strength training has a lot more to do with it than just looking good and getting muscular.(4)
The truth is… if you lift weights regularly, you will automatically improve your appearance and look more attractive to the opposite sex.
But these benefits are just the tip of the iceberg. Strength training is just as crucial for your body, brain, and hormone balance.
Weight training lowers your blood sugar and insulin levels, improves your cholesterol and lowers triglycerides.(5)
Strength training also increases your testosterone levels in the body, which leads to greater well-being and muscle growth.(6)
Another advantage of fitness with weights is that you can prevent depression and all kinds of chronic diseases. Which are… obesity, type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, and many more.(7)
Not to mention, regular strength training is of course extremely good for improving fat loss and helping you lose weight. Especially if you combine your fitness training with a healthy diet. So not only do you burn calories, but your whole body benefits from your improved hormone balance. Ideally you should train with the right intensity.(8)
Fortunately there are many ways to exercise, it doesn't always have to be the gym.
You can do all the exercises in the comfort of your own home. Because training without equipment is more effective than most people believe. Just search Google or YouTube for "bodyweight workouts" or similar search terms.
It is also important for your health that you are regularly out in the fresh air.(9) If you have the opportunity to do your workout in the fresh air, do this. Especially when the sun is shining – so you get a smooth dose of vitamin D at the same time.(10) Walking and jogging is a good alternative to weight training and an often underestimated form of fitness training.
If you like a classic strength training session with exercise equipment better, you can get back in shape at home too. Basically, it's about choosing a workout that you enjoy and will enjoy in the long run.
