They all have one thing in common: they promise women to stop the progression of their hair loss.

Shampoos against hair loss
The simplest solution for hair loss in women is promised by shampoos, which can be easily integrated into the daily care routine.
Shampoos designed to combat constitutional hair loss are available in pharmacies and drugstores. They contain
Stimulating active ingredients (z.B. caffeine), which are supposed to protect the hair follicles in the scalp from the "DHT hormone", which is responsible for genetic hair loss and leads to hypersensitivity of the hair follicles.
In the case of diffuse hair loss, women are often advised to use alkaline shampoos, which cleanse the hair without the use of aggressive chemicals and provide it with nutrients that cannot be absorbed through the diet.
However, one should not expect miracles from shampoos against hair loss: they strengthen available healthy hair, are not, however, generally suitable for halting the progression of pathological hair loss in the long term.
How do dietary supplements work?
Many women look for the cause of their hair loss in an unbalanced or incorrect diet. If malnutrition is present, it is naturally advisable to change the diet.
In addition, numerous Food supplements, which come on the market as pills or capsules, a fight against hair loss from the inside out. They contain much Iron, zinc and biotin, i.e. those nutrients that promote the strength of the hair roots.

Many women swear by their grandmothers' tips and tricks for strengthening hair roots. Connection with a tincture of boiled nettle leaves. Vinegar or with rosemary essential oil to stimulate blood circulation.
A gentle shampoo made of onion juice, distilled vinegar and honey strengthens hair roots. For the care of healthy hair these home remedies are suitable. Unfortunately, they do not help with medical hair loss.
