Gut Rosenhof specializes in keeping stallions. Strives to provide accommodation that is as suitable for horses as possible.
A total of six stable wings offer, among other things:
– bright outdoor stalls – paddock stalls – all-weather paddocks with Equiterr panels and drainage – airy open stalls with direct paddock access – separate guest stalls subject to availability – six sand paddocks – stable lanes with non-slip rubber flooring – grooming areas with horse vacuum cleaner – indoor and outdoor washing areas – spacious tack rooms
The estate also includes an open stable with a very large grazing area for a number of grace horses.
We are especially proud of our round stable built in 2011. This has a green roof, which is not only ecologically valuable, but also ensures an optimal indoor climate. The stable houses eight spacious paddock boxes, a dedicated grooming area, as well as a tack room and feed room. The entire stable system is lined with a non-slip ecu rubber. In good weather, the stable dome can be opened hydraulically. This round stable is a real family project: It was built by my brother, Jens Nuessler (Gartenmanufaktur Nuessler GmbH) and his team in a short time and high quality!
Gut Rosenhof offers ca. three hectares of newly fenced (Berger company) horse pastures, which are now even larger and more comfortable. Stallions also enjoy paddock access with us. The paddocks are not treated with artificial fertilizers and are regularly maintained and mucked out with the Amazone Grasshopper.
In cooperation with selected farmers we offer our horses the best quality hay. The hay is fed in accordance with the horses' natural feeding behavior, d.h. 6x per day in appropriate quantities. This principle, which is primarily intended to prevent the occurrence of colic, has been successfully applied at Gut Rosenhof for years. In order to prevent allergy-related diseases, such as z.B. In order to prevent coughing and digestive problems, we have purchased several hay steamers (HayMaster) for all horses since 2016, which remove mold, mites, bacteria, etc. from the hay.
