Fachoberschule Gesundheit und SozialesAttendance at the Fachoberschule is particularly interesting for Realschule graduates who wish to study at a university of applied sciences or improve their chances on the training market. With subsequent studies in a corresponding occupational field, graduates of the Fachoberschule Gesundheit und Soziales have a clear competence advantage. Admission requirements

Anyone who can prove that they have a Realschulabschluss (secondary school leaving certificate) or an equivalent qualification can be admitted to Class 11 of the Fachoberschule Gesundheit und Soziales (specialized secondary school for health and social services).

In grade 12, classes are held five days a week. The general education curriculum is expanded to include the subject of natural sciences. Above all, the profile subjects are now studied in greater depth: In both concentrations, there are now twelve occupation-related lessons per week (with business and economics as well as information processing).

Attendance at the specialized secondary school is free of charge. Textbooks can be borrowed for a fee. Copying costs must be paid by the students. Students can be accepted.
