Foods that taste delicious and are healthy do not exist? Does exist! We present you six super berries, which are part of a healthy diet and delicate at the same time.

Berries aren't just pretty adornments for the obligatory breakfast photo on Instagram, but possible, flavorful components of wholesome nutrition that pack a punch – literally. With numerous vitamins, minerals, fiber and phytochemicals, berries are one of the healthiest foods available.

Currant

But raspberries can do more than just look pretty. The list of nutrients contained in raspberries is long: vitamin C, iron, phosphorus, calcium and the digestive stimulant pectin are among them. They are also particularly rich in folic acid (vitamin B9), which is important for cell division. A full 30 milligrams of the vitamin are found in 100 grams.

Goji berries provide more iron than spinach and boost our immune system with vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6.

Acai berry

It is a particularly popular subject for the morning post on social networks – the acai bowl. There is a reason why the berry is only available in liquid form in this country: It only grows in the Amazon region and spoils very quickly. Therefore, it is exported only as powder, pith or juice. However, this does not detract from the health-promoting effects of acai berries.

Because they are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, acai berries, when combined with the right diet and sufficient exercise, have a positive effect on cholesterol levels, blood prere and the cardiovascular system. Muscles also benefit from the exotic fruit, as it supplies the body with many important amino acids. The nutritional package of acai berries also includes iron, magnesium and even iodine.
