Swimming is one of the healthiest sports. There are several reasons for this:

Depending on speed, swimming burns 500 to 650 calories per hour. – The buoyancy of the water Relieves the strain on muscles and joints – therefore swimming is especially useful for those who are overweight or have back or knee problems. – Swimming brings the whole Cardiovascular system in momentum and trains the heart muscle. The reason: the water exerts a high prere on our body. It compresses the blood vessels on the surface of the skin. Thus pushes the blood back into the chest cavity. The heart works against it accordingly. Must transport more blood per stroke. As a result, heart volume increases, heart rate decreases and the organ works more efficiently. – The movement of the legs stimulates the Blood circulation to. Strengthens the veins and thus also supports the return transport of blood to the heart. – Swimming is a good workout for Breathing muscles. The water prere makes you exert more effort when you breathe in. – The water prere has a slight Massage effect – it relaxes the body and even helps against headaches. The movements of the arms also gently relieve tension in the neck and shoulder area in particular.

Last but not least: Have you ever noticed that most people come out of the swimming pool in a good mood?? The relaxing effect of the water has a positive influence on the psyche.
